Licenses & credits

Effective October 5, 2026

TableMates is built with fonts, icons, photos and open-source software that are licensed for commercial use. Here’s what we use and where it comes from.

Fonts

• Inter by The Inter Project Authors, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. License text
• Instrument Serif by The Instrument Serif Project Authors, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. License text

Both fonts are served from our own website. The TableMates logo, app icon and share images are drawn with Instrument Serif.

Icons

• Lucide icons (website), ISC License.
• Ionicons (phone app), MIT License.

Photos

Food, city and lifestyle photos on our pages come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License, which allows free commercial use. Videos and profile photos are posted by members, who keep ownership of them (see our Terms).

Software

TableMates uses open-source software, including React (MIT), vinext (MIT), Better Auth (MIT), Drizzle ORM (Apache 2.0), Expo and React Native (MIT). Each project keeps its own copyright and license.
