Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information TableMates (operated by Christian J. Escudero Otero, Illinois, USA) collects, why, and your choices. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t use advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Email address, to create your account and send sign-in codes.
• Profile details you choose to add: name, username, role (creator or business), city and “About you”.
• Content you post: videos, a thumbnail image from each video, captions, places and cities.
• Activity: likes, saves, follows, blocks, and reports you send about content.
• Payment details if you buy a Featured listing. These are collected and stored by Stripe; we receive only your subscription status, not your card number.
• Technical data: IP address and browser type, used for security, to limit abuse (for example, too many sign-in attempts) and to keep you signed in.

What’s public

Your profile (name, username, city, “About you”), the videos you post, and your follower and like counts are public: anyone can see them on TableMates, and share links to them. Who you follow is not shown to others. Your saved videos, blocks and reports are private. If your business buys a Featured listing, its name, city, “About you” text and link are shown as a paid placement while the listing is active.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies.

Services that help run TableMates

• Cloudflare: hosting, database and video storage.
• Resend: sends sign-in code emails.
• Stripe: payment processing.

They process data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete a video, it and its thumbnail are removed from storage right away (copies others already downloaded or shared are outside our control). Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete your videos, and block other members anytime. To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email support@tablematescommunity.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.

Children

TableMates is not for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete the account.

Changes

We’ll post any changes here and update the date above, and email you about significant changes.
